New Year's Resolutions

The sun was finally out yesterday and we went to the dogrun! All my friends were like 'ki xiao' after such a long break. It was MUDDY, but who cares? Even Mummy was enthusiastically shouting:"Run, boys, run!!"

Later on that same night, Daddy suddenly realised that there were only 48 hours left before the new year, 2007. He came up with this bright idea of having me come up with my new year's resolutions.

"Deep in thought"... Ahem...

Deeper in thought...

O, o, it's morning already! Ahhhh, what a good sleep can do for inspiration...

2007

1. Get more exercise at the dogrun instead of hiding under the shade everytime.
This is to shed some extra flesh so that Aunty S won't complain about having a backache everytime she bends down to carry me. (Hey, i'm only 8 kg, you know! I still have that little bit of hourglass figure okay!)

2. Try not to shiver everytime they place me on the vet's table.
I know it doesn't do much for my macho image, but Daddy, don't you know i have Vaccinophobia? It's true!

3. Try to be more friendly to the cats at the void deck.
They should know by now that i'm a little K.L. ... Just like Daddy ... Hehe... But i'll try, i'll try!

Hmmm... i think that's all for me. Daddy says thinking too much will make me look older. I'm going to wrestle with that rascal again. Oh ya, Happy New Year to all of you! Woof! Woof!

Morning Cemetery Walk

It was a beautiful Sunday morning at the Sime Road cemetery. No rain, no sun, just cool and windy. Perfect weather!

"sniff sniff"

Uncle R kept telling Mummy to let me go off leash, but Mum, knowing my independent character, was very apprehensive about it. Thanks to Daddy, he was willing to take the risk as he had his sneakers on today (so he could sprint after me in case... ahem). Freedom... Freedom...! There were a total of 6 GRs, Sky, 1 Rottie; my friend Bear Bear; and little ole me, the only terrier in the group. I did Mummy and Daddy proud alright.

Uncle R is a very nice man, an unpretentious man. Uncle R's got 4 GRs. Hmmm... Wonder how he copes with them. Guess his GRs aren't that disobedient and hyper like Bond that rascal. Bond was running here and there and everywhere, as if there were "things unseen" flying about. Good grief!

Pant pant pant ...

So nice to see Bear Bear again, but he was rather in need of training for some stamina. It was his first time in the "wilderness", so I guess he was just wanted to enjoy the scenery.

That's Uncle TK, Bear's Pa, and Uncle R. They were chatting about healthy living. Breathe in the fresh air! Uncle R also gave us a commentary on the who's who of the 'residents' there.

The water's cool, why wait? Bond and I waste no time in plunging into the longkang. Whoahoo!

Fear Factor contestant, Jose the Great Cairn Terror! Yeah yeah, that's me! They thought i was stuck there, hah, but i just wanted to make sure everyone saw fearless me mah.

What a successful outing! Excellent for training for the next HASH. Hope to see them again soon.

Welcome To Jose's World

I'm Jose the Cairn Terror. My daddy named me Jose cos he thinks it sounds like "Ho Say" in Hokkien. He must have thought i descended from the God of Fortune, sigh.. Anyway i like it. Oh ya, I'm 2 years and 2 months old now.

This is my younger brother, Bond the 14 month old Golden Retriever. I thought his name used to be No! Bad Boy, cos Daddy and Mummy seemed to be calling him that all the time. I was confused for the longest time. Anyway, he is the one who always thinks he can get anything from me by force. Only i in this house can tolerate his s**t, how magnanimous i am! You can ask that rascal who fights off other bigger dogs when he is being bullied at the Bishan Dogrun. It's me, his GeGe. As the Chinese proverb says "Drink water must know where the water come from hor". Sigh..

Actually i wanna put Daddy and Mummy's photo here, but they are a shy couple. So... next time maybe..

Wanna share some photos taken at Tanjong Beach, Sentosa on Wednesday. It was fun!

Allow me to clarify.. that beer can there is not mine hor... I'm no alcoholic man...

That rascal having fun in the water. Anyway, he knows play, play, play only.

Well, that's all for now folks! Adios amigo!
