恭喜發財! (Gong Xi Fa Cai)
It will be the Year of the Pig. Hey Dad, you are a Pig! Don't get me wrong, i'm not woofing you're the animal, but you were born in the Year of the Pig... Oink oink...
Daddy says many people have a tendency to get a pet animal for the new year as they believe it will bring them good luck. E.g. pet dog in the Year of the Dog, pet rabbit in the Year of the Rabbit, etc. Hmmm... will they get a pet pig this year? And will many dogs be abandoned cos the Year of the Dog is over? I certainly hope not.
Daddy also says that the Dog is the 11th animal of the Chinese zodiac, followed by pig. I wonder why such intelligent animals like us ended in the 11th position? Rubbish! We should be in the 1st position. Guess the judge then didn't really like canines.
Anyway, Bond and i would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a "Happy Chinese New Year 恭喜發財! "

Me look-alike?
Is this me? Look closely...
Having double vision? Haha... Which one do you think is me?
She's Baby, another Cairn Terrier and around my age too. It's her first outing in this wilderness. She didn't really run with MY pack, guess she was just shy. Maybe Uncle J should bring her here more often.
Hey Kaylie, i assure you it's purely platonic. Aunty R and Angel were there too. They can vouch for me.
Hey, why am i not in this photo? Rascal Bond, you blocked me. Grrrr....
Anyway, i scrapped my escape plan. Where in the world can i find another two humans so willing to be my maids? I'll face this vaccination phobia like a man.
Went for the vaccination with Bond this afternoon, actually it wasn't that scary. It's the anticipation that is. Daddy says i've improved (no more yelping, but still trembling) and he's sure i'll get used to it eventually. Paws crossed.
PS. The vet says i've lost weight, now 7.4kg. And Bond still maintaining his 'ideal weight'. We are healthy canines!! Thanks Dad.

"D" Day is coming!
Seriously, i'm comtemplating on leaving home to escape from this cruel event. Should i just run away when we are at Bukit Brown cemetery on Saturday morning? I think i've got to start planning my escape route. Hmmm... I'll have to prepare my backpack now. What should i stuff into that small little backpack? My kibble, deer tendons, pilliow, stuff toys, more treats? Damn! Daddy didn't apply a sup card for me the last time.
Now, where i can stay after running away??? Is there anywhere where i can get a comfortable bed, a fan (preferably air-conditioner), a daily dose of mutton bone, someone to scratch my back, a car to get me to the park and the beach, someone to play "one snake, two snake" with??? Arrgh... too many things to consider. Now i'm both nauseous and tired, i really don't feel well! Faint.....

What a weekend!
Not wanting to waste the trip there, we walked around the store. We were greeted by this huge Great Dane. Boy, it was at least 12 times my size. It tried to get close to me but i made my "I'm no pushover" statement. Keke... it then went for Bond instead.
Guess what that rascal got? He got this huge beef bone and doggie bed. Arrgh...
And on Saturday afternoon, we went to the Dog Hash with Aunty C, Uncle S and Uncle K. Jaffe, Kaylie and Bear were there with their humans too. Daddy was not there cos he had to work. That explains why there are no photograph, he's my official photographer. It was a great Hash, the best of the 3 i've been to.
Sunday afternoon... My family went to the SKC Dog Show at Singapore Expo. There were many many dogs, of different size and colour.
SKC officials setting up the Agility course for the competitors. I wonder if Bond will ever be able to make it there in the ring, if he does attend the agility course.
That's me being very well-behaved at the Dog Show.
Guess what! Daddy bought that rascal a new pair of shoes again at the Dog Show. It's called Neo-Paws and the sales person said it is very durable and gave a money-back guarantee. He probably doesn't know what Bond is capable of! Hmph!
Sunday evening... Blooie's Roadhouse Bar & Grill at Science Park Road. Okay, this one excluded me and Bond. Only Daddy and Mummy went. They liked the place very much(canines allowed). They said they needed some time together and they would bring us there the next time. Not that i'm complaining...
Hmmm... how i wish every weekend was like this. Except instead of buying so many things for Bond (bone, bed and shoes), i get something too.
